The Mission of the Illinois Fencers Club

The IFC mission is to promote and teach the Olympic sport of  fencing to students of all ages and skill levels.

The Illinois Fencers Club has been in existence for over 30 years now. It originally started as a place where senior fencers would practice and have a good time. Over the years, our club has evolved and now includes Youth Program, Adult Classes and free fencing practice for our members. We have 9 electric strips that are rarely left unused. Our most recent achievements include:

  • 1st place, Veterans 50-59, Men's Epee - USFA Summer National Championships - 2006 - Tim Glass

  • 1st place, Senior Women's Team Epee - USFA Summer National Championships - 2005 - Christine Dominick, Anna Paul, Ina Harizanova

  • 1st place, DIV IA, Women's Epee - USFA Summer National Championships - 2004 - Christine Dominick
