Epee

Open Team Men's Epée (41 teams)

8. The Illinois Fencers Club - We beat Las Positas, Boston Fencing Club and Cheyenne Fencing.  Then we got creamed by TZCKA (?) out of Southern California.

New Note:  The first club we had to fence was Las Positas, who were ranked 41st out of 41 coming into this thing.  But the USFA web site does not list them in this event, and says only 40 teams played.  So, did the USFA forget about them, or did Las Positas do something wrong?

Division I-A Men's Épée (78 Competitors)

21. Karll, Christopher
36. Pete McCann
Dead Last.  Some jerk who will remain nameless.

Division II Men's Épée (142 Competitors)

29.  The same jerk who did so poorly at Div. IA Épée
122.  McCann, Pete - Don't be too hard on him.  He had a really lousy day.

Veteran 60 and over Men's Épée (14 Competitors)

11.  Baldwin, Robert C

Veteran Combined Men's Épée (69 Competitors)

48.  Baldwin, Robert C

Sabre

Division I-A Women's Saber (52 Competitors)

36.  Rill, Kristin E

Division II Women's Saber (79 Competitors)

28. Rill, Kristin E

Division III Women's Saber (93 Competitors)

23.  Rill, Kristin E

Under-19 Women's Saber (49 Competitors)

39. Rill, Kristin E - Kristin got the Ring finger of her fencing hand viciously smashed during her DE.  They had to call the trainer over the intercom.  The trainer had to sit her down, tape her fingers together, then told her to "Get back out there and fence like an Under 19 Woman!"  It was so cool.

Foil

Division I-A Men's Foil (65 Competitors)
